Yadkin County Schools will have a REMOTE LEARNING DAY on Wednesday, February 19. YEC students are required to log in and complete the work assigned by their instructors. Please stay alert for an announcement regarding any change to college classes.
Yadkin Early College will host an open house for 8th grade students and their parents on Thursday, February 13 at 6:00 pm. This event is designed to allow any prospective students and their parents learn about the early college program and what opportunities and benefits it offers for students. Good evening. This is Anthony Davis with Yadkin County Schools. Several roads in the western and northern parts of the county are still snow/ice-covered. They are predicting more precipitation overnight with temperatures below or near freezing. Without knowing exactly when temperatures will get above freezing and what kind of precipitation will be falling, we will cancel school for students tomorrow, Monday, January 6. Staff will have an optional teacher workday. Out-of-School Time will open at 8:00 am, and Out-of-School Time students will need to bring their lunch if they attend. Have a good evening and be safe.
